Add liquid

If you don't want to increase the overall quantity of your dish, you can dilute it with liquid. Be careful not to water it down too much, which will change its flavor drastically. It's best to add the liquid gradually, let it simmer, and then taste it again. This method works well for dishes like soups, curries, or stews, but not for those that might overcook or become too dry. In addition to water, you can also use wine or juice to adjust the flavor and reduce the spiciness.
