Lentils

Lentils are an amazing source of fiber, like chickpeas and green peas. But they can cause flatulence, stomach cramping and intestinal discomfort from the gas released during fermentation. Also lentils are high in protein, which places extra stress on the kidneys to process and filter waste out of the body. Keep away from lunch menus where lentils are the dominant ingredient. A small portion won't hurt, however.
