If you want to save money, you can recycle empty tin cans to use as pots. Any corner of your kitchen can potentially house a small garden. A great spot is near a window, where you can place several cans of different sizes on a tray and fill them with basil, oregano, rosemary, mint, parsley, chives, etc. When it comes time to cook, all you have to do is take your scissors and go!
