Take one of the world's poorest countries and mix in political turmoil with religious division, and you have a bad situation in the Central African Republic. Things went sour in 2013, when Muslim rebels took power of the Christian majority country. What followed were years of violent unrest and political instability. Despite international intervention, the situation here is described as "extremely fragile."
