Not all companies start from the bottom: Dreamworks was born from a joint project including Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg (formerly of Disney) and David Geffen (a record producer). The company has enjoyed a number of astonishing successes,  including Shrek and Kung Fu Panda. The logo was created by Spielberg, who used the child fishing to recall the golden age of Hollywood and to appeal to the childish side we all have.
