You Breathe Away the Fat

The fat has to go somewhere, doesn't it? As you lose weight, the fats stored within your cells evacuate your body, but not always in the way you'd think.

Contrary to the myth that you expel them through energy and heat (you know, the one you probably learned in school), it turns out that, according to this study from the University of New South Wales, most of the fats actually leave via your lungs. You breathe them out!

The rest are expelled in smaller amounts through your sweat, urine, and other bodily fluids.
