Woman Dies of Cancer After Claiming Her Vegan Diet Had Cured It

On their channel, which claimed its purpose as a "ministry", Liz and Mari made videos and promoted alternative, non-science-based ways of curing cancer, namely through a raw food diet and juicing.
Mari revealed that she had undergone chemotherapy and other medical treatments for her Stage 4 cancer before, but after a transformation in faith she decided to reject further treatments. Instead, she turned to a vegan diet, which she credits as the cure for her cancer, along with a drinking problem, depression, and a past "gay lifestyle" (in her own words).
"The cure is not in the pharmaceuticals. The cure is in our plants," Mari said in a video about her 90-day juice cleanse, which she calls the "cancer killer".
The two continued to post videos in support of these claims until the fall of 2017, when things took a turn for the worse.
