Which one is right for you?

Like doctors, dietitians are held to strict state and government standards, and are qualified to help clients. However they can be more expensive than nutritionists, so if you are seeking general nutritional advice, there are many expert and qualified nutritionists who could help you. If this sounds like you, then engaging a dietitian could be overkill.

However, if you have medical conditions or believe you may have a food related disease, you should definitely see a dietitian to ensure you are getting the highest quality treatment available. Most importantly of all, make sure you talk to your doctor before beginning any treatment, and choose a health professional that you feel the most comfortable with.
