When you purchase a 10-pound sack of potatoes or a 5-pound bag of carrots, chances are a small family wouldn’t be able to finish that in one meal. Potatoes keep well fresh or as leftovers, and carrots make for good snacks, salad toppings and side dishes at dinner. Remember, ingredients can be versatile.
