Easy Fried Rice

Preheat a large skillet or wok to medium heat
- 2 cups cooked rice (preferably 1 day old)
- 1 small white onion, chopped
- frozen peas and carrots
- 1 tablespoons soy sauce (adjust)
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- cooking oil (or sesame oil)
- 2 Tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
Corn Egg Soup

In a saucepan, combine the cream style corn and chicken broth
- 1 (15 ounce) can cream style corn
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Potato-Tomato-Corn Soup

Boil your soup water
- 1 tablespoon of dried shredded conpoys (can use whole ones as well)
- 2 large fresh corn, quartered
- 2 large potatoes, halved
- 3 fresh tomatoes, halved
- 1 teaspoon of chicken powder (or half a cup of chicken stock)
- 2 L of water

- 2 teaspoons kosher salt, plus more as needed
- Pinch freshly ground white pepper, plus more as needed
- Coarsely chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Thinly sliced scallions, for garnish
Potato Carrot Onion Chicken Soup

Blanch chicken in boiling water for about 5 minutes, then rinse with cold water, set aside
- 1 Chicken, chopped into big chunks, skin removed
- 2 large potatoes, cubed
- 2 carrots, chop in thick pieces
- 2 onions, quartered

Steam Lobster

- 1 (1-1/2-pound) whole live lobster

Papaya Fish Soup

This neutral soup is extremely rich in carotenes, antioxidants and vitamin C
- 4 medium-sized golden threadfin bream (or any other appropriate substitute)
- 1 large papaya (use green papaya if used for increasing milk in breastfeeding)
- 5-6 pieces of dried scallop
- 3 large dried dates
- 2 slices of fresh ginger
- 2 L of water
- 1 teaspoon of salt (to marinate the fish)
- 1 teaspoon of oil (to fry the fish)
Confinement dish: fish and papaya soup (Basic)

Wash the fish, cut the fish out from the bone (remove the bone), and cut the fish fillet into slices
- 350g (11 oz) Carp Fish or Red Snapper
- 500 grams of green papaya (the flesh of the fruit is white)
- Three litres of water
- Four slices of ginger (this will help cut down any fishy taste or smell)
- Six cloves of garlic
- Three stalks of spring onion
- Salt to taste
