MOTHER'S PINEAPPLE CHEESECAKE
By vhamlett
Blend 1/3 cup sugar with the cornstarch and add pineapple
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 9 inch unbaked pie shell
Mother's Chicken and Dumplings

Stew or bake chicken, cover with broth, enough to cook dumplings in - about an inch of liquid
- 1 1/2 cup AP flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp parsley flakes or good bunch of fresh chopped
- Either a whole chicken or chicken pieces
MOTHER'S DILL PICKLES

Soak small pickling cucumbers overnight in COLD water (or 6-8 hrs) before canning
- 1 Qt Cider vinegar
- 3 Qts Water
- 1 Cup Canning salt
- Fresh dill heads
- Garlic buds
- Hot peppers
- 1/8 tsp Alum to each jar
Cheri's Vegetable Bars

Preheat oven to 350. Press dough over bottom and sides of a 17 x 11 inch baking pan (press edges to seal)
- 2 8 ct. cans of crescent rolls
- 3/4 c chopped green peppers
- 3/4 c mayonnaise
- 3/4 c chopped broccoli
- 1/2 c sour cream
- 3/4 c chopped tomatoes
- 16 oz softened cream cheese
- 3/4 c chopped carrots
- 1 envelope Ranch dressing mix
- 3/4 c chopped cauliflower
- 3/4 c shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 c sliced green onion

- 1/2 lb Bacon - diced
- 2 C celery chopped

- 1 10.5 oz can consommé

- 2 16 oz cans peas

- 6 Tbs butter
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken livers
- 2 tsp molasses
- 4 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 tsp salt

- 1/4 cup brandy
- 2 Tbs chopped parsley

- 1/2 C shortening
- 1/2 C or more of milk
- 2 eggs

- 2 C flour

- 1 C water
- 1/2 C butter
- 1 C sifted flour
- 1/4 tsp salt

- CUSTARD
- 1 Tbs flour

- 1/4 c sugar
- 2 c warm milk
- 1 Tbs butter
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla

Mix sugar and syrup, bring to just a boil
- 1/2c. sugar
- 1/2 Karo Syrup
- 1 C peanut butter
- 2 C corn flakes
