Biscuits with jam

  • 5 cups flour
  • 1 packet yeast
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 1/5 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 1/4 stick of butter

Step 1

Sift flour-yeast mixture in you work area. Add sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs. Working with some of the flour to form a thick porridge. Add butter (or margarine), cut into small pieces. Knead quickly to form a smooth paste. Chill in fridge for one hour.

Step 2

Roll dough into a thin layer. Cut out as many biscuits as you can. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake in moderate oven to 10 minutes (watch). Upon exiting the oven, brush the biscuits with jam. Sprinkle with icing sugar.
