A Squash with a Story

The pumpkin is the ultimate symbol of fall and is a North American native, with some scientists believeing the winter squash dates back to over 9,000 years ago. Its popularity expanded when Christopher Columbus took the pumpkin overseas to Europe in the 1500s, before its fame reached all corners of the world.

Today, it's achieved cult status, particularly during the autumn months when spooky season is in full swing! As well as making for the perfect Jack-o-Lantern and spicing up hot beverages, pumpkin can easily be incorporated into your diet in a tasty and healthy way.
