Do you always have to eat something right before bed? You might want to think twice about your nighttime snack habits. Eating too much before getting your daily shuteye can lead to digestive issues, weight gain and overall poor sleep quality—especially if you're eating any of the following foods.

We don’t mean to say that pasta is bad for you because that would be a lie (it’s especially good for the soul!). However, refined white carbs can be a bit heavy late at night and provoke weight gain due to inactivity after the meal. If you just can't say no, then try to limit your portion size and choose whole-grain varieties where possible.

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup of chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp. of Mexican spice mix
  • 4 Tortillas
  • Cheddar
  • Salt, to taste


  1. Put shredded chicken breast, tomato sauce, chives, and mexican spice mix in a bowl and mix together.
  2. Lay out the tortillas. Place a slice of cheddar in the center, and cover with the chicken mix.
  3. Fold up tortillas, and heat in a frying pan until golden.
  4. Enjoy!
