The simple thing you should be doing to improve your wine is decanting it.

Decanting wine is simply pouring  it from the bottle into another container before serving it. Decanters can technically be anything from an old jug to an expensive crystal antique, but we have a penchant for chic and affordable glass decanters, like this one pictured here by Culinaire.
