Don't forget to call if you're running late

It happens to everyone: A meeting that goes longer than planned, traffic or public transportation hiccups... Restaurant managers are aware and understanding of these issues.

If you know in advance that you won't be on time for your reservation, call immediately to let the restaurant know: It's a simple act of courtesy that will make you feel better and the restaurant more willing to keep your table reserved.
