Chestnut Mushrooms

Chestnut mushrooms are super cute, and usually come in a group within coniferous forests.

Also called Cinnamon Cap mushrooms, they usually sport a chestnut brown cap and have fleshy colored gills with a beige stem.

You can collect them in fall, from the end of September to mid November — but be quick as they're also popular with little forest rodents and mini beasts!
