Everything You Need to Know About Foraging Mushrooms

Chestnut Mushroom Crostinis

Ingredients:

  • 12 slices of ciabatta or baguette
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 1/2 cup chestnut boletes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 bunch of parsley
  • Salt pepper (to season)

Instructions:

  1. The bread slices in the preheated oven at 360°F.
  2. Peel onion and garlic and chop finely. Clean and chop the mushrooms. Finely chop the parsley.
  3. Sauté onion and garlic in heated olive oil. Add the mushrooms and sauté for 5 minutes.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar and parsley and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Arrange on the warm crostini and serve.
