Don't work out on an empty stomach

There have been some studies that support working out on an empty stomach, but you won't be able to push yourself as hard. Plus, if you don't have enough glycogen stores, your body will draw on muscle reserves (protein) for energy. So go on and eat your carbs. They'll help you get the most out of your workout, and you'll finish on your feet (not your face!).
