2. Eat fewer carbohydrates

If you're not working out, you need to reduce your carbohydrate intake, in order to see weight loss results. Don't cut them out completely because you need carbs to function, stay alert and concentrate. Just try to get most of them from fruits, veggies and whole grains. Simple white carbs should be avoided because they do little for your body and are stripped of important vitamins and minerals.
