Salad Dressing

For a basic vinaigrette, the ratio is 3:1 (3 parts oil, 1 part vinegar).  The best part of cooking ratios? You can customize them however you want. Combine olive oil with balsamic vinegar, or switch it out with red wine vinegar. You can also season with as much salt and pepper as you want, or mix in some lemon juice or Dijon mustard.
