Regardless of whether your pearls are real or artificial, it's best to clean them regularly so that they shine. Mix warm water with a few drops of shampoo. Dip a make-up brush in the solution and use to clean around and between each pearl. Rinse with a damp cloth, but don't immerse the pearls in the water.
