Paddy Long's Beer & Bacon Pub in Chicago offers a real bacon-heavy menu, with bacon specialty appetizers and mains, plus beer and bacon tastings (5 cuts of bacon with 5 craft beers). The restaurant even offers a challenge to diners who dare to brave "The Bomb" (5-lb ground pork, beef and sausage wrapped in a brown sugar bacon weave and slow cooked on the pig roaster). If one person can finish it + a huge side of fries in 45 minutes or less, he or she earns a T-shirt, the meal for free and a spot on the wall of fame. INGREDIENTS

  • Blue cheese
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Mozarella
  • 1 baguette
  • Sun-dried tomatoes
  • Bacon

METHOD

  1. Cut your cheeses into thin slices
  2. Slice baguette down the middle (like a sandwich)
  3. Layer cheddar, blue, and mozarella cheese inside the bread
  4. Top with sun-dried tomatoes
  5. Close baguette and wrap with bacon strips
  6. Put in oven and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees
  7. Slice and serve!
