Tookie's Burgers - Kemah, Texas
Another Texas staple, Tookie's Burgers has been garnering loyal followers since 1975, thanks to its huge burgers with buns that stand up to their size, juiciness and generous toppings. The meat is freshly pressed daily, and prices are more than reasonable ($8.49 and under). Expect a relaxed atmosphere with friendly service and walls decorated with vintage license plates, posters and other paraphernalia. Locals recommend the 99 (wine-marinated beef patty), and don't skip the incredible onion rings.
