5. Favor Certain Fats

Generally speaking, you need to practice restraint when it comes to fats and fatty foods. Your daily intake shouldn't surpass 80 grams (depending on activity levels and overall calorie intake). Vegetable oils are healthy sources of fat, as are avocados, fatty fish such as mackerel and salmon, nuts and nut butters, olives, etc. So if you are going to consume fats, make sure you get it from the highest quality sources.
