The first rule for non-stick grilling is making sure your grill is clean! Residue from your last grilling adventure could attach to the food you're currently cooking, making it harder to flip without breaking the skin and destroying those oh-so photogenic grill marks you desire. It also influences the way your food tastes. Some may argue that it adds flavor, but who wants their burger to taste like old fish? 

If you forgot to clean it off last time around, heat up your grill and scrape off the residue with a spatula. Your taste buds will thank you!
