  • channa dal - 1 table spoon
  • coriander seeds - 1 table spoon
  • Red Chilies - 3 (It was medium spicy, you can increase the numbers to your personal taste)
  • Pepper - 4-5
  • cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon
  • Fennel seeds - 1/2 tea spoon
  • cinnamon - 1 small piece
  • clove- 3-4

  • Butter - 100 grams (at room temperature)

  • Brown sugar - 1 cup

  • coco powder/ chocolate powder - 1 tea spoon (I used unsweetened)
  • grated orange peel - 2 tea spoons
  • water - 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup
  • veg oil - 2 tea spoon
  • salt - a pinch (not required if salted butter is used)
  • Nuts / fruits:
  • Cashew, pista, tutti frutti, dates, raisins all together - 1 cup
