Chicken Noodles

A simple way to make chicken noodles
- Egg Noodle - 1 cup
- (If you are using the same twisted noodle which i have used, take 2 cups)
- bone less chicken - 300 grams (approx)
- Egg- 2 nos
- onions - 1/2 medium
- green chili -2
- ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- pepper powder - 1 tea spoon
- salt -to taste
- soy sause - 1/2 a tea spoon (optional)
- tomato sauce - 1 tea spoon (optional)
- oil-to fry chicken(preserve 2-3 tea spoons of oil once chicken is fried)
- To Marinate chicken:
- garam masala -1/2 a tea spoon
- chili powder - 1/3 tea spoon
- ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon
- salt -as per taste
- Or
- Even you can simply use any chicken 65 masala
Snake gourd Raitha

An alternate healthy raitha for regualr onion or cucumber raitha
- Raw snake gourd- 3/4 of a cup (finely chopped)
- Beaten Curd - 1/2 cup
- salt - a pinch
- pepper powder - 1 pinch
- To temper: (Optional)
- Oil - 1 tea spoon
- mustard seeds, urad dal -1/2 tea spoon each
- peanuts- 1 tea spoon
- curry leaves- a few
Ragi Pakoda

- ragi flour - 1 and 1/2 cups
- Onion - 1 small
- green chilies - 2
- jeera - 1 tea spoon
- Perungayam /hing - a pinch

- Oil- to fry pakodas
Coriander Chutney

Coriander / Kothamalli Chutney is a famous and frequently made dip in south india
- Fresh Coriander leaves - 1/2 a bunch
- Tomato - 2 (Medium)
- Tamarind - a small amla size
- Green Chili -2
- To Temper:
- Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon
- Urad dal - 1 tea spoon
- Jeera - 1 tea spoon
- Red chilli -1
- Curry leaves - a few
- oil - 2 tea spoons
Rajma dosai

Dosai made with Red kidney beans, rice and spices
- Rajma - 1 cup
- Rice - 1/4 cup (or a hand ful)
- Salt - as per taste
- oil- as required to prepare dosai
- To Temper:
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 a tea spoon
- Urad daal - 1/2 a tea spoon
- Jeera/ Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon
- Perungayam / hing - 2 pinches
- red chilies - 2
- curry leaves - a few
- Oil - 1 tea spoon (to temper only)
Thatta payir puli kuzhambu

A tangy gravy made with tamarind, cow-pea and other indian masala
- Thatta payir / cow-pea - 1 cup
- Egg plant - 2 medium
- Drumstick - 1 (cut it into 4 or 5 pieces)
- tamarind - a big amla size (make the extract with 1 cup water)
- onion - 1/2 a small onion (optional)
- Greenchili - 2
- sambar powder -1 or 2 tea spoon (as per your spice level, I added 1 tea spoon only)
- coconut - 1/4 cup of ground coconut
- oil- 3 to 4 tea spoon
- coriander leaves - a few
- salt- as per taste
- To temper:
- mustard seeds - 1/2 a tea spoon
- urad dal - 1 tea spoon
- hing/perungayam - 2-3 pinches
- curry leaves - a few
Nuts Rava Upma

- Rava (Coarse) - 1 cup
- onion - 1 small
- green chili- 2 medium
- ginger - a small piece (optional)
- bengal gram - 3 tea spoons
- peanut- 3 tea spoons
- cashews- 2 tea spoons
- mustard seeds- 1/2 tea spoon
- urad daal- 1 tea spoon
- curry leaves- a few
- Oil- 3 to 4 tea spoons
- ghee- 1 tea spoon(optional)
- salt- as per taste
Moong Daal Recipe

One of the easiest and healthy snack for your tea time
- Moong Daal -1 cup
- rice - 2 tea spoon
- urad daal - 2 tea spoon
- Onions - 1/2 a big onion or 1 medium (finely chopped)
- Green chili - 1 or 2 (as per your spice level) (finely chopped)
- Perungayam - 2-3 pinches
- salt - to taste
- Oil to deep fry
- curry leaves - a few (finely chopped)
Palak Chapathi

- Wheat flour - 1 cup
- salt as per taste
- to grind A:
- Spinach - 1/2 a bunch (or the ground spinach must be 1/2 a cup)
- cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon
- omam seeds - 1/2 tea spoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 a tea spoon
- salt as per taste
- To grind B
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- ginger - 1/2 inch piece
- green chili - 1 (small)
- Pudina leaves - a few (optional)
Baked Chicken Fry

A low fat and less oil baked chicken
- chicken legs - 5 leg pieces
- oil- 2 - 3 tea spoons
- To marinate:
- curd - 1 tbsp
- ginger garlic paste - 2 tea spoons
- Chili powder - 1 tea spoon
- coriander powder - 1 tea spoon
- garam masala - 1 tea spoon
- lemon juice - 1 tea spoon (I didn't use it for marinating, i used it after cooking is done. it is your choice when to add.)
- salt - as per taste
