The Original Chocolate Chip Cookies

It is a traditional way of making a simple chocolate chip cookies
- All purpose flour - 1-1/4 cups
- sugar(granulated / brown / combined) - 3/4 cup (I combined both and used)
- Chocolate chips -1 cup
- Vanilla extract - 1 tea spoon
- Butter - 1/2 cup (at room temperature)
- Salt - 1 tea spoon (if you are using unsalted butter use, otherwise not required)
- Egg- 1 (at room temperature)
- Baking soda- 1/2 tea spoon
Ridge Gourd Curry

An authentic curry made with Ridge gourd
- Ridge gourd - 1 (about 1 and 1/4 cups(chopped) tightly packed)
- shallots/ chinna vengayam - 6-7 nos (slice them) (do not add more as it gives the sweetened taste)
- tomato - 2 table spoon finely chopped
- Chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon (adjust according to your taste, mine is medium spice level)
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon
- turmeric powder - a pinch
- salt - as per taste
- oil- 2 tea spoons
- mustard seeds - 1/2 tea spoon
- urad dal - 1 tea spoon
- curry leaves - few
Chicken Stripes

Deep fried chicken stripes marinated in spices
- To Marinate:
- Chicken breast - 200 grams (cut it into long and thin stripes)
- ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon
- chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon
- garam masala - 1/2 tea spoon
- coriander powder -1/2 tea spoon
- white vinegar - 1/2 tea spoon
- Curd - 2 table spoon
- Salt - as per taste
- To coat
- Sesame seeds - 4 table spoon (or as needed) (optional)
- Bread Crumbs - 4 table spoon (or as needed)
- Egg -1 (beaten)
- Oil - to deep fry
Carrot Egg Stir

Coriander Channa Pulao

One pot meal, made with rice, chickpea,and coriander and other spices
- Basmati Rice - 1 cup
- Channa - 3/4 cup (Soaked over night or atleast 8 hours)
- Coriander leaves - 1/2 a bunch (Say 1/2 a cup of coriander puree, here the coriander bunches are little bigger).
- Onion - 1 medium
- tomato - 1 big
- Green chilies - 2
- ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon
- Dry garam masala:
- cinnamon stick- 1 small
- fennel seeds - 1/2 a tea spoon
- anistar - 1
- bay leaves - 1
- cloves - 2-3
- Masala powders:
- Garam masala - 1/2 tea spoon
- Chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon

Apple Wheat Halwa

An delicious Halwa made with, apple, wheat, milk,ghee and nuts
- Apples - 2 cups grated (approx 3 apples)
- Milk- 1 and 1/3 cups & 1 and a 1/2 cups
- Wheat flour - 1 and 1/4 cups
- Sugar- 1 and 1/2 cups
- Ghee - 1/2 -3/4 cup (as needed)
- Elachi powder - 1/2 tea spoon
- Cashews - 1 table spoon
- pista - 10-15 nos (slice / chop into small pieces)
- Almonds - 10-15 nos(slice / Chop into small pieces)
Pink Coconut Ladoo

- Dry coconut powder - 1.5 cups + 1/4 cup for dusting/rolling.
