Crab Cheese Ball

Mix first five ingredients together well
- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, 1 level tsp. dry mustard, 1 level tsp. horseradish sauce, 1/2 tsp. garlic salt, 7 oz. can crab meat, chopped walnuts or flaked parsley.
Refrigerated Slaw

Chop cabbage and onion. Drain
- 1 large head of cabbage, 1 large onion, 1 1/4 cups sugar, 1 cup vinegar, 3/4 cup salad oil, 1 tbsp. dry mustard, 1 tsp. celery seed, 1 tsp. salt.
Brown Sugar Cookies

Cream sugar, butter and eggs
- 2 cups brown sugar, 1 cup butter, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. tartar, 2 cups flour.
Maple Muffins

Combine flour, baking powder and salt
- 1 1/3 cup flour, 1/4 cup white sugar, 1 tbsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 cup shortening, 3/4 cup uncooked quick oats, 2/3 cup evaporated milk, 1/2 cup maple syrup, 1 beaten egg.
Microwave Minute Rice Pudding

Put pie filling in a microwave proof bowl
- 1 small package of vanilla pudding and pie filling, 2 1/2 cups of milk, 1/2 cups of raisins, 1/2 cup of minute rice.
Light Dijon Salad Dressing

Take 9 tbsp. of a good brand of pure virgin oil, 3 tbsp
- Good brand of virgin olive oil, white vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, milk, salt and pepper.
Yorkshire Pudding

Beat 2 eggs at room temp. in a medium bowl until frothy
- 2 eggs, 1 cup milk, 7/8 cup of flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 cup of beef drippings
Holly Wreaths

Melt butter and marshmallows
- 1/2 stick of butter, 15 large marshmallows, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1 tsp. of green food colouring, 2 cups of cornflakes, cherries.
Steak Dinner if Foil

Heat oven to 350 degrees f
- 1 1/2 pound chuck steak, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, I envelope onion soup mix, 3 medium carrots, quartered, 2 stalks celery, cut in 2 inch pieces, 3 medium potatoes, pared and quartered, 2 tbsp. water.
Joyce's Shortbread Cookies

Cream 1 cup of butter. Add dry ingredients a little at a time
- 2 cups of flour, 1/2 cup of corn starch, 1/2 cup of icing sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1 cup of butter.
