Hot Crab Dip

  • 2 1-lb pkgs. crab meat
  • 1 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 med green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 med red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 med onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • Tabasco
  • Old Bay Seasoning

Step 1

Shred crab meat into large mixing bowl. Season with Tabasco and Old Bay Seasoning to taste. Add chopped bell pepper and onion. Add 1 cup shredded cheese. Mix in mayonnaise and sour cream, adding more if necessary so mixture is not too dry. Spray 11x7 baking dish with cooking spray. Place crab meat mixture into baking dish, top with remaining shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted. Serve with crackers or chips.
