  • 3 cups ground almonds
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup orange blossom water
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • confectioner's sugar
  • pinch vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

Mix flour, salt and confectioners' sugar,Add vanilla extract, and baking powder, combine the dry ingredient with the melted butter, and add orange blossom water plus water, combine until a smooth paste. cover and let rest about 30 minutes

Step 2

Combine all the filing ingredients together, and form a pudding with stuffing. roll out dough on lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thick. cut out rectangle of 2 inches. place the filling on the dough and wrap the dough on the filling, Paste the ends of both sides with egg white,and make a shape like bracelets or cut round Cut rounds of 4 inches in diameter, then put the filling in the middle of the dough and with the fingertips, lift the edges of the dough toward the center and make the Y form . bake for 30 minutes, let cool.

For the icing beat the white egg, orange blossom water, lemon juice, pinch vanilla extract, and add confectioner's sugar until a thick mixture.
