Lobster Roll

  • 2lbs Fresh Lobster
  • Mayonnaise
  • 2 Hot Dog Buns with opening on top
  • 1T Butter
  • Paprika (optional)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Step 1

Spread the butter on both sides of the hot dog rolls and toast until nice and brown on both sides.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix together the lobster, mayo, salt and pepper. Scoop into the hot dog rolls and sprinkle with paprika if desired.


You can also roll the lobster mixture in a leaf of lettuce for a different alternative to the classic Maine style. If you can't find lobster meat at your store, you can cook up your own in a large stock pot filled with 2 bottles of beer, covered about 15 minutes or until the lobster is red and thoroughly cooked.
