Peel some of the outer layers of the husk off your corn, leaving the husk about 2-3 layers deep. Snap off any of the stalk that might be left at the bottom of your corn. Pull all the corn silk off the corn.
Place the corn (husk and all) in your microwave. Heat for one minute. Roll the corn over and heat for another minute.
Remove from microwave. It will be very hot. Carefully pull back the husk and wash the ear of corn in hot water at your sink, scrubbing thoroughly.
Rub the corn with butter. Salt to your taste.
