Mango and coconut pacchadi.


This is made for Varusha pirappu, which is Tamil new year.

  • 1. Raw Mango - 1/8 (cut and boil)
  • Jaggery -1/2 cup
  • 2 teaspoon Rice flour made into a paste with water.
  • 2. Coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Green chilly - 1
  • Salt
  • Buttermilk - according to choice (more if u need it watery or less if you need it thick)
  • coriander leaves - to garnish

Step 1

To boiled mango add jaggery and wait till it dissolves completely. Add the rice flour paste for a good consistency.

Step 2

Grind all ingredients in the coconut pachadi recipe to a smooth paste. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.


Add vegetables of choice like grated carrot, cucumber, chopped tomatoes or ladies finger to coconut pachadi.
