Not cleaning your dish towels frequently

Always dry your dishes with a clean, dry dish towel or cloth, to prevent the spread of germs. You can also use a clean cloth or even paper towel to dry your fruit and veggies after you've washed them as this can help to get rid of bacteria that may still be present. Make sure you clean your reusable dish towels or cloths frequently, as they can easily become dirtied when using them for multiple purposes (drying, wiping up crumbs, spills, etc.) and may develop harmful bacteria growths like E. coli or staph.
