Honey-Glazed Chicken Breast

Are you looking for an easy way to make chicken extra delicious? This honey marinade will transform a simple chicken breast into a heavenly delight. Of course, it works just as well with other meats, such as pork tenderloin.

 

Ingredients (serves 4):

  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Season the cleaned chicken fillets with salt and pepper, and briefly sear them on each side in 1 tbsp of oil.
  3. Mix the lemon juice with honey, brush the chicken with the mixture, and place the fillets on a wire rack lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes, basting occasionally with the marinade until nicely glazed.

Tip: Serve with rice as a side dish and vegetables such as broccoli or caramelized carrots!

  • 5 Potatoes
  • 1.5 Cup shredded zucchini
  • 3/4 Cup shredded cheese

  • Parmesan, to sprinkle
  • Salt and pepper, to season

METHOD

  1. Chop the potatoes in half, boil until very tender and drain.
  2. In a bowl, combine the potatoes and zucchini. Add the grated cheese, milk, coriander, basil, salt and pepper, and mix thoroughly. 
  3. On a baking tray, spoon out the zucchini-potato mixture and form into balls. 
  4. Sprinkle with Parmesan and grated cheese, and bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
  5. When golden, remove from oven... and enjoy!
