How to avoid projectile grease splatters

When cooking meat or fish in the skillet, there is always some cooking grease that jumps out of the pan and dirties your stove or lands on you. To remedy the problem, place an upside down mesh strainer or splatter screen on top of your skillet (it has to be bigger than the skillet). No more random unpleasant splatters or greasy kitchen counters to clean!
