Thin Pasta

Thinner pastas like vermicelli or angel hair are great for light sauces or brothy soups. Because they're so thin, these pastas are best paired with delicate summer sauces—think fresh tomatoes and olive oil. Soups with a lots of broth are also ideal, because these pastas don't weigh down the recipe, but still provide light bulk.
