The Vortex Bar & Grill opened in Atlanta in 1992 and now has two locations that locals rave about for their wacky interior deco and delicious burgers, even being referred to as the "Godfather of the Atlanta burger joints". It's 21+ company here, so don't bring the kiddies with you, but do order any one of the signature burgers on its menu, such as this Pickle Rick burger topped with fried pickles, whiskey pimento cheese, bacon and house-made Szechuan sauce.
