  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1tbsp yeast
  • 1tsp sugar
  • 8 cups of flour
  • 1/3 cup
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups warm water
  • Butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Raisins

Step 1

Mix the first 3 ingredients and proof for 15 mins

Step 2

In a big bowl mix 4 cups flour, sugar and salt. Add oil, water and yeast mix. Mix thoroughly add remaining flour as needed. When dough is well mixed place onto oiled counter and knead for 10 mins. Roll out into a rectangle. Spread butter onto rectangle add cinnamon and brown sugar and raisins. Roll into a log and cut. Place into a pan and let rise 1 hour. Bake at 350 F for 25-30 mins

Sweet Apple Cinnamon Rolls

1 apple
Pie crust dough
1/8 cup brown sugar
1/8 cup almond powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Egg yellow(s)


1. Halve an apple and slice each half finely.

2. Cut the top of a pie crust to get a straight edge.

3. Spread the brown sugar and almond powder all over the dough.

4. To get the first row, line up the apples in a straight line and cut out the section. Continue until all the dough is all used up.

5. Mix egg yellow and milk and cover each roll with the mixture.

6. If you wish, sprinkle a little extra brown sugar on top of each roll.

7. Bake in the oven for 18 min at 350° F.
