Not all cheese is off-limits! Pregnant women can still enjoy pasteurized milk products, such as skim-milk, (prepackaged) mozzarella and cottage cheese. However, there are a few that should definitely be avoided, particularly soft ones such as brie, camembert, feta and blue cheese, any raw milk cheeses and processed grated cheese.

All unpasteurized or raw milk products are restricted during this period, no exceptions.
