Tomatoes

Consider yourself warned: refrigerators basically kill your tomatoes. To keep them plump and delicious, place a paper towel in your salad spinner and then put the tomatoes in there. Store them away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place. And if you've got too many tomatoes lying around, blanch them quickly in boiling water to remove the skin, cut into small pieces and then freeze.
