While it can be a powerful weight loss tool, intermittent fasting is not a magic bullet. You still need to avoid processed foods and eat nutritious meals in between fasting. You should also make sure to exercise regularly and lead an active lifestyle. Above all else, intermittent fasting isn't for everyone. You may even want to avoid it, depending on your preferences, lifestyle, or medical history.

Don't despair if you've tried intermittent fasting and found it wasn't a good fit! You can always consult your doctor or registered dietitian until you find a weight loss method that works for you.
