For the cake:
8 oz. white chocolate
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs, separated
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup chopped pecans (or fruit, optional)
1 cup coconut (optional)
