  • 9 onions
  • add 37 cups peeled quartered tomatoes

  • 8 c diced seeded peeled tomatoes
  • 2 medium green peppers chopped
  • 2 lg onions chopped
  • 2 jalapeno peppers seeded and finely chopped
  • 3/4 c tomato paste
  • 2/3 c condensed tomato soup undiluted
  • 1/2 c white vinegar
  • 2 T sugar
  • 2 T salt
  • 41/2 tsp garlic powder

Bottled Apple Pie Filling is the best! I use this in so many ways during the winter months

  • 4 1/2 c Sugar
  • 1 c. cornstarch
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 10 c. water
  • 3 TBSP lemon juice
  • Makes enough sauce for 7 quarts peeled, sliced, cored apples.
