Granola

Mix dry ingredients. Add oil, honey, and water
- Basic:
- 1 to 2 squares margarine
- 8 cups rolled oats
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- ½ to 1 cup sugar

- 4 cups quick oatmeal
- 4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup honey or brown sugar
- ½ cup water
- Sunflower seeds
White Chili

- 3 16 oz. cans white beans
- 4 cups chicken, cooked and cubed
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 cans green chilies
- 2 tsp. cumin
- 1 ½ tsp. oregano
- ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
- 6 cups chicken broth
- Monterey jack cheese
Clam Chowder

Drain clams. Add to all vegetables
- 2 6 ½ oz. cans clams
- ¾ cup butter
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 cup diced celery
- ¾ cup flour
- 1 cup diced potatoes
- 2 tsp. salt
- Pepper to taste
- ½ tsp. sugar
Bear River Bruins’ Taco Salad

Mix and enjoy
- 1 ½ lbs. ground beef (seasoned with taco seasoning)
- 1 head lettuce (chopped)
- 2 medium tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 medium can red kidney beans (drained)
- 1 medium red onion (chopped)
- 1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1 medium bag nacho flavored chips (crushed)
- Sauce
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 1 cup catsup
- 1 tablespoon wine vinegar
Layered Bean Dip

Spread beans on bottom of serving dish
- 2 cans or 21 oz. refried beans
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 diced tomatoes
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 avocados
- 1 bunch green onions
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Simple Cheese Ball

Mix. Form ball. Roll in nuts, parsley, or cheese
- 3 cups shredded cheese
- 1 pkg. cream cheese
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 ½ tsp. onion powder
Ham Roll-Ups

Spread cream cheese on slices of ham
- 1 8 oz. pkg. sliced ham
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
Spinach Dip

Mix all ingredients. Refrigerate 1 day ahead to allow flavors to blend well
- 1 10 oz. pkg. frozen spinach, thawed and drained
- ½ cup chopped green onions
- ½ tsp. pepper
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- ½ cup chopped parsley
- 1 cup mayonnaise
Applesauce Cake with Apple Cider or Orange Sauce

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix dry ingredients with a fork in an ungreased square pan
- 1 2/3 cups flour
- ½ cup applesauce
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup chopped nuts
- 1 ½ tsp. ground allspice
- ½ cup water
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup margarine or butter
- ¼ cup apple cider or orange juice
Polka Dot Cake

- 1 ¼ cup chopped dates
- 1 cup hot water
- ¾ cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 6 oz. choc. chips
- ½ cup chopped walnuts.
