VIDEO: French Tarte Tatin
This French tarte tatin is golden, caramelized apple perfection!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 puff pastry
- 6 apples, sliced
- 3 oz. chilled butter, chopped into chunks
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
METHOD
- Roll out a puff pastry.
- Lay out the apple slices in a pan.
- Add chunks of butter on top of the apples.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar on top.
- Cook for 20 minutes in oven at 350°F, to caramelize the apples.
- Place puff pastry on top of the caramelized apples.
- Cook for 15 minutes at 350°F.

Creamy Bacon Carbonara

You have to double the sauce for it to be saucy enough
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup Cream or Heavy Cream (Whipping Cream)
- 1/3 cup Parmesan
- Fresh diced Parsley or dried flakes
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp Red Pepper flakes
- *(I doubled the Sauce recipe, and it was perfect)
- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 3 mushrooms chopped (opt)
- 1 small onion chopped (opt)
- 1/2 pound pasta

In a skillet, fry the bacon over medium heat with a little oil
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1/2 lb of bacon
- 2 onions
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 1/4 cup of cream
- Nutmeg
