Sour Cream Apple Pie

  • 1 1/4 c. sour cream 3/4c. sugar 1/4c. flour 1/4tsp. salt 2 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 6c. thinly sliced apples
  • 1/2c.flour 1/2c. walnuts 1/4 c. sugar 1/4c. packed brown sugar 1/2tsp.cinnamon-dash salt 3tbsp.cold butter
  • 2-pie shell

Step 1

Mix in Lg. bowl sour cream,sugar,flour,salt,vanilla,egg,and apples.

Step 2

Pour into soft pie crust.Bake 400 for 15 min. reduce 350 for 30 min.

Step 3

TOPPING Mix flour, walnuts,sugar,packed brown sugar,cinnamon,dash of salt,and cold butter.Refrigerate until use.

Step 4

After pie has baked for 45 min. already then sprinkle Topping on pie.

Step 5

Bake 350 20-25min. longer

Step 6

Let cool.


Serve with ice cream delicious.
