Ingredients
- - 1 1/2 cups of very good dark chocolate
- - 2 eggs + 2 yolks
- - 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- - 4 1/4 tbsp butter
- - 1/4 cup of strong coffee
- For the béchamel:
- - 2/3 cup flour
- - 1 2/3 cups of milk
- - 4 1/4 tbsp butter
- For the caramel:
- - 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- - Scant 1/2 cup of water approximately

Step 1
Caramelize a loaf pan.
Make bechamel sauce:
- Melt butter, add flour while mixing, as it forms a dough, add milk, stirring briskly to avoid lumps, and cook a few minutes.
- Melt chocolate in double boiler with coffee. Remove from heat and stir into the béchamel, stirring briskly, then the butter, powdered sugar, two egg yolks, and 2 whole eggs.
Step 2
Pour caramel into prepared pan and bake at 350 ° F in a water bath for 55 min. Serve with custard lightly flavored with coffee, or plain according to individual preferences
